“The children have food, clothing, shelter, and education, but they don’t have enough JOY.” That was the constant thought my buddy Shane Hon had, and it came with an image of a playground …
This divine vision couldn’t be clearer and more complete. So we embarked on seeking our first orphanage and playground factory to materialise this vision.
It was 2017 and I was working in and out of Yangon Myanmar. On some of the weekends, I’d visit Lapyiwun (Full Moon) Children’s Development Family to teach Hymns and share the Good News. Full Moon is home to over 380 beautiful children, youth and caregivers.
I asked Ms. Ni sat too, the Head Caregiver of Full Moon if we could build a playground for the kids and she warmly welcomed the idea.
Nisat then showed me a plot of land in front of their chapel. It was barren, undulated and quiet. A perfect foundation for God to bless and create JOY.

We found on the internet, a playground factory in Bangkok called Ocean Plastic Intertrade. A dear friend, Khun Bath drove me there and I explained our intentions to the lady boss. She was a kind person who gave us their export pricing to support our cause. So we started preparing the land while she got her team to prepare the playground equipment.

Within just three months, our first playground project was completed, and the results are truly remarkable. The transformation brought immense joy to the children, whose laughter and excitement became contagious—even the adults found themselves caught up in the fun, delighting in the children's' happiness."
